It may be winter. It may be in England. The sun came out and we just had to have a boerewors braai. More to the point the boerewors was supplied by our local English butcher.

Being in the area with a few hours of winter daylight left, we took a drive to Hastings, where we found ourselves at St Leonards beach on a windy afternoon after storm Eleanor.
Robertsbridge in East Sussex. An interesting little English village near Hastings and near the site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings.
It’s a survival thing. As the winter winds, rain and snow come in. As we scrape the ice off the car in the morning. It’s time to plan for the year 2018. How can we be “Gone to the Beach”.
