Our Easyjet flight from Luton flew down Lake Geneva, giving some tantalising glimpses of the lake, especially for a first time visitor. After we landed at Geneva airport, and completed the usual arrival admin, we met our friend, as planned. Before heading into the mountains there was an errand to run. That took us to this this pretty spot on the beach at Perroy, on the shore of Lake Geneva.
It was a warm Saturday afternoon with a few people around enjoying a swim, or just enjoying the warm day.
A great way to start a trip to somewhere new – a warm afternoon and a beer on the beach!
This was, of course, where the clouds in my previous post were photographed.
We spent a short while here, before heading on to Les Moulins, which was to be our base for this trip.
